The Xaar 1201 printhead is set to shine in graphics and textiles at the 26th Shanghai Ad and Sign Show, China, 28 – 31 March 2018. The strong presence this year is largely the result of the partnership with Guangzhou HaoCheng International in Greater China. The application and integration expertise of Guangzhou HaoCheng is helping OEMs bring to market graphics, industrial and textiles printers with this versatile printhead.

Rapid adoption of the Xaar 1201 by printer manufacturers in Asia is taking place because it is a highly productive printhead capable of jetting multiple ink types such as aqueous, UV and eco-solvent. It is easy to align so that it is possible to have multiple printheads on a single head plate. In addition, the Xaar 1201 can be used for a wide range of textiles, graphics and industrial applications such as direct-to-garment, outdoor graphics, indoor back-lit signage graphics and many more.
Through its collaboration with Guangzhou HaoCheng, Xaar provides printer manufacturers with an extensive and stable supply chain and full integration support. “Our close partnership with Xaar gives printer manufacturers the benefit of lower R&D costs and a much faster time to market,’’ says Leon Wu, Guangzhou HaoCheng’s General Manager.
“Our OEM partners have been delighted with the performance and versatility of our Xaar 1201 printhead and this is reflected in the number of new printer launches with the Xaar 1201 that we are seeing at Asian graphics and textiles shows this year,” comments Bob Bobertz, Xaar’s Director of Sales Asia. “For example, we have recently returned from Media Expo in Mumbai, International Signs & LED Exhibition (ISLE) and DPES Sign Expo in Guangzhou where Xaar 1201-based printer launches dominated, with over 44 new printers exhibited across these shows. We expect this trend to continue at the Shanghai Ad and Sign show with even more new printers on display. Anyone who is interested in finding our more about the Xaar 1201 can visit us on our booth (C1653) in Hall 3 at the show,” adds Bob Bobertz. “Those who want to see the printhead in action can visit many of our printer partners who will be displaying working printers.”
