PIA Responds to Tariff Announcements on Uncoated Groundwood Paper; Monitoring Industry Impact of Potential Aluminum Tariffs

In response to the announcement by the Department of Commerce regarding preliminary anti-dumping duties on Canadian imports of Uncoated Groundwood (UGW) Paper, Printing Industries of America President and CEO Michael Makin made the following statement:

WAN-IFRA in partnership with Sida, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, is pleased to announce the launch of nominations for the 2018 Women in News Editorial Leadership Award. The award recognises an exemplary contribution of an Editor to her newsroom and under her leadership, the contribution of her newspaper to society. One outstanding editor from sub-Saharan Africa and one from Middle East and North Africa will be named Laureates in 2018.

PIA Seeks Participants in Hiring, HR, and Recruitment Study

Printing Industries of America (PIA) Center for Print Economics and Management and the Department of Management at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) are partnering on a new Management Study exploring recruiting, hiring, and human resources best practices throughout the printing and graphic communications industry.
